LET’S MAKE A PLAY! is a virtual after school intro to theatre course. The course meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays via Zoom. Korinn created this course for students interested in theatre who may not have direct in-person access to a theatre or theatre teachers. In this course, students will be exposed to every aspect of theatre including, playwriting, set design, costume design, dramatic criticism, acting and more!

‘Exploring Language With Shakespeare’ is a course intended to make Shakespeare’s works more accessible. By emphasizing and exploring the personal vernaculars of participants, ‘Exploring Language With Shakespeare’ provides tools for deciphering Shakespearean texts and other challenging literary works. In this course, participants will be putting a Shakespearean monologue in their own words using all of the colloquialisms, metaphors, similes, rhythms, and idioms present in their own personal vernaculars.
NOTE: This is a NINETY MINUTE session + will begin at 1:00 pm ET on Monday, July 12th, 2021.

This event is free and open to the public.
Join the cast and playwright for an open rehearsal of the production and a thoughtful discussion about the usage of the ‘N-Word’ in today’s world.
